Admissions

The Camino Schools are eager to partner with families who share our vision for our children’s futures and who want to help create a culture that makes that future possible.

Eligibility

Please apply early – both to save your place and to assist us in determining which grades we will offer in fall 2024.

Currently, we are committed to offering grades K-5 in the fall of 2024. Kindergarten and grades 3 and 5 are close to being in waitlist status. Additionally, we are now considering the addition of grade 6 if there is enough demand. Consequently, we encourage all interested families to apply as early as possible, as we are hoping to providing a final decision regarding grade 6 by February 15, 2024. There is no risk until we have made official announcements regarding location and grade levels being offered.

To help us streamline the rest of the admissions process for fall 2024-2025, we have identified an Early Admissions deadline of February 15 and (so long as there is still space available) a Regular Admissions deadline of March 31. We highly encourage interested families to apply by the Early Admissions deadline to ensure your child’s enrollment next fall.

Until we officially announce our specific location for the fall of 2024 and commit to the full scope of grades that will be offered, the admissions process is completely risk-free. All commitments will be non-binding until the specific location and grade levels are officially confirmed. Once these details have been finalized, families will have 30 days to confirm or rescind their admissions commitment.

Additionally, we are inviting families to participate in our Founding Families program for exclusive benefits and recognition. Click here to learn how you can become a founding family.

Our Admission Process

Because we are more interested in building culture than simply running a school, the main goal of the admissions process is to get to know you as a family and ensure that our visions align.

The first step is to complete an application for each of your children. Once we receive your completed application, we will reach out to schedule your Family Interview and Student Assessment.

For those who are accepted, a $500 deposit (per family) will be required within two weeks of the decision in order to hold your place(s). The deposit is not a separate fee; it will be applied to your tuition upon enrollment. As noted above, until our specific location and fall 2024 grade offerings are officially confirmed, the deposit will be fully refundable for up to 30 days after the official announcement.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Opening a new school in Orange County, California, of the caliber to which we are committed, is a costly endeavor. Nevertheless, we have set our tuition below the cost of education, reflecting our commitment to making the Camino Schools affordable for all families who share our vision.

The tuition for the 2024-2025 school year is as follows:

  • 1st child: $12,000
  • 2nd child: $10,000
  • 3rd child: $8,000
  • 4th child: FREE
  • 5th child: FREE

We have committed to funding the gap between these tuition amounts and the full cost of education as well as providing additional financial aid to all families that require it.

We do not want cost to be a barrier for any family who shares our vision.

For those families who require additional assistance, generous grants are available by applying for Financial Aid. Families have two options for applying for Financial Aid. It can either be completed at the same time as the admissions application process or after you receive your admissions decision. Families who apply for Financial Aid during their admissions process will receive their award amount along with their admissions decision. Families who choose to apply after receiving their admissions decision will be notified of their award amount within two weeks of completing the Financial Aid application.
